Our eco-friendly construction company specializes in constructing full-size walls, partitions, boundary walls, and ceilings using sustainable materials and energy-efficient techniques. Our walls are designed to maximize insulation and minimize the use of non-renewable resources, reducing the carbon footprint of the building. Our partitions and boundary walls are made of recycled materials and are constructed to ensure stability and durability while also incorporating green features such as natural light and ventilation. Our ceiling systems are designed to reduce energy consumption by incorporating the latest in energy-saving technology. Full Size Walls
Eco Building’s full-size walls are based on 120mm thick panels, which are factory molded from fiberglass reinforced plaster. These panels are created with two 14mm sheets, spaced apart by web members at 250mm centres.
These 120mm panels are then produced in 12m lengths, with heights between 2.4-m and 3.4m, as required by particular projects. They are cut to exact length fore arriving on-site, but window and door cutouts are made on location.
Crucially, electrical or plumbing services can be run through the vertical voids in the panels, thus eliminating the need for chasing. And, unused space can be similarly filled with grout or concrete to give not only a solid ‘feel”, but also excellent fire and acoustic properties.
Boundary Walls
Eco Building is a fast, efficient and cost-effective solution for fencing or boundary walls. It is possible to span our walls between simple piers. The wall’s load is transferred to these piers via pilasters, and thus there is no need for expensive excavation or footing construction. And, this system also thus reduces the likelihood of cracking or other future failures.
Partitions
Our non-load-bearing partitions can be used in any construction environment. The system can be retro-fit to non-Eco Building properties, typically replacing bricks, blocks or plasterboard.
The partitions are 500mm wide and, like the full-size walls, can be produced to heights between 2.4m and 3:4m. Each partition weighs about 75kg and can be installed without the use of craneage. And, the tongue-and-groove system, combined with plaster adhesive, ensures a flat wall.
Like the full-size walls, the voids can be used for electrical or plumbing services, or filled to improve fire, acoustic and aesthetic properties.
